The brief for this topic was curvature. Some designs are the result of observations of the things we see around us. Others evolve because of items we have seen or techniques we are exploring and learning about. The table came about as a result of exploring a range of ideas and configurations using simple coopering techniques. The coffee table draws from the “Art Deco” period and includes the requisite curvature.  The offset legs provide a point of interest as the light moves across them creating ever changing shadow lines.
