Madison Carroll

Madison Carroll was born in Queensland, Australia, and graduated in 2021 with a BFA from Elam School of Fine Arts, University of Auckland, Tāmaki Makaurau.  Her work imitates her surroundings, which for most of her life was the lush Taranaki whenua.  With a background in oil painting, Madison is now a ceramic florist whose work takes on alien-like forms that speak to a different time or place.  Her ceramics echo the fragility, vulnerability and intricacies of the natural world.
