Welcome to the Quiet Dog Gallery, Nelson

The Nelson art gallery that brings you stimulating work by artists from across Aotearoa

No visit to the galleries of Nelson would be complete without calling in at the Quiet Dog Gallery.  Housed within an industrial warehouse space the gallery is spacious and full of light.  The 7m high ceilings and concrete floor are the perfect environment for displaying contemporary art. The gallery focuses on art by established and emerging artists from around Aotearoa with a good amount of attention on Nelson artists too.  There is a lively programme of exhibitions featuring solo and group shows which makes the experience of visiting always fresh and stimulating.  The gallery favours art that has something to say and aims to seek out the surprises of the art world to bring you something different.  So whether you are simply browsing for fun or keen to add a quality work to your collection be sure to make some time for the Quiet Dog Gallery.
