Janet Bathgate

Janet Bathgate is a Nelson based artist who has a long established history of creating art from a variety of mediums.  She has work in many collections around New Zealand including the Nelson Suter Art Gallery. Most recently Janet was a prize winner in the Changing Threads Contemporary Textile Fibre Art Awards.  The work Janet has produced for our recent exhibition 'Illusory Mysterioseae' is a collection of fine art digital prints that are simultaneously futuristic and could be seen as exploring life in its most primitive form.
