Kirsten Cooper

Kirsten initially studied science and holds a BSc (in Zoology and Ecology) from Canterbury University. In 2021 she graduated from Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology with a BAM (Visual Arts and Design). She was the recipient of the Jens Hansen Gold and Silversmith Excellence Award and the Nelson Suter art Society Distinction Award for BAM2021.

'My current work is borne out of an ongoing response to my/our relationship with time and place, and acknowledgement of the impacts of human activity on the earth’s geological and physical processes'.
